

My Story:
Welcome to plantbased-journey.org. The Recipes you find here are ones that I have actually prepared. I grew up on a wheat farm and from a young age I prepared meals for the workers during the harvest. Preparing these meals from this young age I learned how the different seasonings affect the taste of the food. So I use these skills not only to make food that is healthier, but taste good too.
A few years back I was experiencing pain all over my body and after studying the subject I found that meat and diary products create inflammation in the body that was probably causing my pain and I decided overnight that I was going to follow a Plant Based diet and my pain was greatly reduced as nephropathy in my feet is still causing continued pain.
One of the things that I realized is not much help is available to assist a person wanting to change their eating lifestyle. So over the past few years I have developed recipes and knowledge for cooking meals that actually taste good and give the benefits of weight loss, controlling Diabetes, and reducing the chances of a heart attack.
